What We Do
Our Mission & Method
At The Coaching Biz, our mission is to create a paradigm
shift in how business is done. The shift is to a value
based culture that is deliberately created
by the leadership of an organization. Working from
a created set of operationally designed values and
a culture that supports those values is the most direct
and efficient way to achieve desired outcomes.
We assist organizations in creating such a culture
in three primary ways: consulting, teaching, and coaching.
We believe coaching is the key to long-term change
and dramatic results. It is through the coaching relationship
that the leadership identifies the desired outcomes,
explores multiple solutions, prioritizes, commits
to action, and follows through. The coaches stay with
the leaders from conception through implementation.
Our 6-step Approach to
Creating a Values-Based Culture
1.
Evaluation of Your Current Culture
In this process we identify all existing disconnections
between the organizations existing culture and the
desired culture. Symptoms of such disconnections could
include high turnover, low moral, conflicts and arguments,
increased waste and mistakes, procrastination, excuses,
poor productivity, high disability claims, etc.
2.
Identification of Desired Outcomes
We work with the leadership team to identify the desired
outcomes for the organization. This is the step where
leadership gets clear about the vision for the organization.
3.
Determining Values
We work with leadership to determine the values through
which all decisions will be filtered. The leaders
answer such questions as "What is our brand?"
and "What do we want our reputation to be?"
These values are the foundation of the paradigm shift.
4.
Operationally Defining Values
The coaches and the leaders operationally define the
values. We help to assign observable behaviors to
each value so the organization knows what they look
like and sound like in action.
5.
Creating the Culture
We create the organizational culture to support and
sustain the identified values by designing systems
and protocols to monitor the application of the values.
The organization stays in a constant conversation
about the values and creates organizational habits
to sustain the desired changes.
6.
Sustaining the Proactive Culture
Through ongoing coaching, monitoring, and evaluation
the proactive culture is sustained. The goal of this
step is to optimize the now existing culture.
Power Tools: The Ten
Leadership Protocols
We work with leaders to build the corporate culture
that supports their vision for the organization. A

increase profit and productivity. Using our Ten Leadership

that clearly communicates the organizations values,
beliefs, and intentions.

The Role of the Leaders
We work with leaders who believe that a values based
culture is the most effective way to increase profit
and productivity. These leaders want to deliberately
create reputations, expectations, and brands that
communicate the company's values and promises. They
are the leaders who truly desire to do and be something
great, who have a big vision for themselves, as well
as the company. They are willing to take risks, accept
candid feedback, improve their own ability to contribute
more to the company, and to make and keep agreements
and promises. They live the values they are seeking
to create. This kind of leadership is vital to the
new paradigm.
