Services
At The Coaching Biz there are three services that
we provide, coaching, consulting and
training. These services are provided within the
context of our six-step model and with the ultimate
goal of creating organizational cultures that support
the leadership's vision.
COACHING
We believe that powerful, supportive and effective
cultures are created from the top down. When leaders
are willing to be the living example of the kind of
culture they want, then their passion and vision is
infectious. Therefore we coach leaders, preferably
each member of the leadership team. We also know that
it takes time and dedication to create or change a
culture so our minimum-length coaching contract is
weekly coaching for one year.
Our coaching process is a simple yet powerful relationship
between a leader and a coach. First and always the
coach recognizes and highlights the leaders strengths,
assets and resources. The process then focuses on
what the leader wants. What are the problems, goals
and desired organizational out-comes. Next the coach
and the leader develop multiple ways to achieve the
desired results. Then the coach assists the leader
to prioritize, act and evaluate the effectiveness
of the action taken. The coach can also be a part
of the accountability and a monitoring system, always
keeping the new changes and the big vision clearly
in the awareness of the leader. Old habits have a
powerful gravitational pull. Coaching provides the
awareness and support for persistence and follow-through,
while at the same time holding the space for creative
brilliance.
CONSULTING
As consultants we will advise you on specific communication
processes and protocols. We will also assist you to
evaluate your current culture and design the culture
that supports the leadership's vision. We work with
the leadership team to identify the desired organizational
outcomes and values, to operationally define the values,
and to then optimize the culture to support those
values. We do this through multiple visioning and
planning meetings with the leadership team.
TRAINING
We teach our ten leadership protocols. We teach three
to four of them at a time during daylong workshops.
We also teach a management continuum and detailed
communication skills for management and staff. The
workshops can be done with up to fifty people depending
on the space available. These workshops are a great
venue to include the next level of management. We
find that it is helpful to leaders when there is a
common language and structure to communicate the desired
cultural changes.
The focus, content, and structure of the workshops
can be tailored to any organization or team. We specialize
in training leaders to become highly skilled at creating
environments and cultures that encourage employees
to be effective, self-generating, creative, responsible,
productive, and happy.
